I have just finished my latest military painting, though; this one will not be part of the set I am putting together. This is a Commission for my brother-in -law Stewart, who served in Kings Troop, Royal Horse Artillery. Stewart is a Master Equestrian and now coaches riders and horses in 3-day eventing. The painting is a surprise for him as he is the only member of my wifes siblings that has not been gifted a painting by me, yet. The reference image is from a set of images provided by Stewart, this was a large group photo that I cropped down to use in this painting. The red is not so garish in the painting
