Austin Miller

Here is my latest commissioned piece. A young actor/singer by the name of Austin Miller. If the face looks familiar that's because he was on NBC's "You're the one that I want" Where singers competed for the lead roles in the next Broadway production of Grease. Sadily to say, Austin came in second. :( I still say he should have taken first place! Anyhow, this is the first of two drawings of Austin, where both will be mailed to him and he will pick for himself (after all , this is a commissioned work) the one he likes the best and the other he will sign and return to me. Now if only I can get the X-Men Series signed by those actors! HMMMM. The photo used for this drawing appears to be a few years old. The next portrait will be his most resent. The images scanned here, as well as on my website are at 100 dpi and therefore you aren't able to see the detail in each drawing. All of my drawings are created with fine pencil lines. Never blending or smearing the graphic as most pencil drawings artists today do. I have taught myself how to draw much like the great Masters. Whether it will pay off is hard to say but so long as I am able to share my drawing skills (and passion) with others, and the commissioned assignments continue to come in I will know I have been blessed! For those who have been asking how do I draw the way I do, I'll try to share a little with each drawing I post here. As already stated, I draw with very fine lines. Keeping the pencil at its sharpest and I work left to right and top to bottom. Usually! If you have questions feel to ask. If you have a photo syou feel would be great for me to draw email me today.
