Winged War Woman

DAZ|Studios, The Gimp Victoria 3, Hawkhead, Character Eyes (in Hawkhead), Nvarre Wren charactor (retextured with Martha texture). Postwork of smoothing the hawkhead into Victoria 3 head done with several brushes (all stock from The GIMP) and smudge tool.

The high contrast at the horizon line cuts the image awkwardly. Model looks very stiff.

Artist Reply: I was tempted to change the ground plans image (I use DAZ|Studios so a lot of what I do is re-texture of what 'models' I have, which is somewhat limiting.... I had thought this ground plan image was too dark. I kept the lighting to 3 distant lights and only shadowed from one of them to 'cover' the attachment of the hawk's head a bit...)

Artist Reply: Thank you, was a lot of work on the hawk head (it doesn't come that small, or at that angle, and I brought it in by importing it with no texture, so that I could match it to the skin of the head...)
