Early spring here brings all sorts of weather, mostly rain, but when the sun comes out it's glorious!! The trade-off is very cold nights and frosty mornings. This photo was taken on the Skookum Flats trail in early April of 2003. We were on the shady side of the valley so the frost remained into the afternoon. I loved the colors of the forest in this photo. The 2nd shot is the original photo showing the river in the shadow of the mountain behind us and the brilliant sunlight on the trees in the background. This was one of my very 1st photos with a digital camera. Who would have guessed at the future I am living now... :) Thanks for stopping by!!!
