Glass Shards

I have a love of reflective materials and especially glass. I am always experimenting with my art and was playing with this one. It started as a digital watercolor of some pretty colors I was using for some fairy wings. I got a bit sidetracked, as usual with a idea. I added some picture hose brushed passion flowers, in an underlayer, and added some layers of shards of glass effects. I decided to remore the reflection to make it blend more into the water colors. Unusal for me to take away the reflection, but loved the results. I used Corel's PainterIX.5 program as well as Corel's Paint Shop Pro Photo XI, as well as my Wacom (electronic canvas & stylus pen). I hope you enjoy!

fantaaaaaaaaaaaasssticcc

Artist Reply: Thanks Blue Doll! I was just looking at it again and wishing I had it as a summer dress to wear! Would have been a neat t-shirt pattern, kind of tye-dyeish batik look to it.

Wonderful,Terry!

Artist Reply: Thanks Hanna so much! I love thinking up new designs and effects like this one. Often I am planning to use bits of them for another use, like this one I will try to use for a fairy wing design, or background for a fantasy setting.

Amazing! fantastic, Terry!

Artist Reply: Thank you Emily! I've been slow to post new works and comments due to packing up to move. Trying to catch up and get some time to work on my art. Will be glad once the move is done!
