Hi, again, Jessica! Most everything I wrote below Berlin applies here! I assume that these are your photos, partly because of your marvelous photos of animals elsewhere on the page. I love 'home' animals very much, too, but unfortunately never have gotten to know horses. Your b&w photos of them are so regal! Unfortunately, since I don't know them well, or see so well any more, I cannot tell, is Berlin jumping a hurdle here? Is it meant that a top page is almost burned away to reveal this marvelous, action scene (I want to get away -- it's going to come right at me!). All the colors, especially the bright green in the vertical background and the lavender ground in the horizontal "background." Just noticed: that must be part photo of a horse's front legs, muzzel, on the burned-away fragment! And the ragged "border" showing behind the canvas is a very effective feature with the rest of the picture, I would say. I might have put a bit less of the darker blue on Berlin's front side ("quarters"), but I'm sure you know better. Basically, the highest I can give, is that I wish I had painted these two pictures. Please keep up your great stunning and beautiful work and post it for all of us, Jessica!
