This piece is beauitful Monique, especially how it represents how you feel with being kept out of the loop and being pulled this way and that. The women of service men should be given as much credit as defending this great State we live in. Send me email anytime you feel down on MS I will listen. Cyn :) xoxoxPenny Myers 08 Mar 2007

Very nice piece. Take it from an old military wife, you look at the shortest time, i.e. if you are a week in then you have allready made it a fourth of the way and only have a few weeks to coast. If he is on a remote tour for a year, then you celebrate the time you have already survived and plan to do something special with his return. It is all in your mind. Take it as a challenge to see how much you can get done while he is gone and the month will fly. Best of luck to you. You should be able to do several pieces with no interruption in the time he is away.Fiona Hooper 04 Mar 2007
No wonder she looks so sad! Still, a month will pass quickly, Monique, and then there will be the joy of the homecoming!!! Lovely work!Trine Meyer Vogsland 04 Mar 2007
I think you captures it very well. One thing I wonder though, how do you know how to make the folds in your ladies skirts? Do you have a fabric that you use as reference or do you just do it freehand. They are always so rich.Patty Day 03 Mar 2007

Well Monique, that's okay to feel that way! You wouldn't really be human, not to feel that emptiness. Be as strong as you can, and know that because of your emotion, this is a super great render.stephanie atlee 03 Mar 2007
