This in no way has anything to do with our dear Nelly at AW. Just so that's known. In the US, I guess from some older comedic Western, TV or Movie. Someone hollered to their horse, to whoa, Nelly!, when they wanted their horse to stop running. I changed the spelling to Nellie, here for our Nelly's sake. Nellie, she's a wild horse, and she's always running around not watching where she goes. From now on, I thinks she will.
