The Menger Hotel in San Antonio, TX, is known to be one of the most haunted places in the area. No wonder since it is right across the street from the Alamo! It is said that if you want to hear some interesting ghost stories about The Menger Hotel you should visit its bar. The bartenders have plenty of stories to tell. Then again - don't all bartenders? Anyway, while taking this picture I was being watched by some one who later asked if I was a ghost hunter, which I am not. I'm just a photographer, and the keys to this piano were incredible to look at. Such character, such history. An I'm sure it has been played by many people who have now passed on to the next world. If the ghosts of the deceased who have played this piano were there that evening I surely didn't see them.
