Low, high, Here I fly, Like a bird through the sunny sky; Free, free, Over the lea, Over the mountain, over the sea... Do you remember how it felt? How your heart seemed to leap from your chest as you soared into blue skies carried on that old wooden, backyard swing? Wouldn't it be marvelous if adults could experience that simple joy every day?! "Higher, mommy! Higher!" is for all of us long to take a step back and remember that gleeful enthusiasm of childhood. Original painted on 5 x 7 gallery-wrapped canvas.

ooo! what a wonderful image. Brings back the days of summer childhood fun. Thank you for the comment on my Tribute to James Anderson!!! I appreciate your heartfelt words. Truly someone has seen this image for what it means instead of just looking at it. One day we will all be old like this walking the steps to meet the Creator whether we think so or not. I know you realize that, I am very touched that you felt the meaning of this image beyond the average pass by comment. You made me cry, but tears of thankfulness. The lady in that image is my Mother Elaine. She has had a very hard life but still believes in love and the Goodness of God. So your comment on that image means allot to me.
