Rearing Stallion

I've been trying to draw a good rearing pose for so long, but never pulled it off. Other than that, I just adore the shading - probably around 3 hours total for the picture, and most definately one of my best works yet. Pencil work © Dream Merchant Designs 2006

Excellent work Samantha!! You've got the muscle tone does very well! Also.. hooves are especially difficult. One wrong angle and the who leg looks crooked. Yours are spot on... fantastic!!!
