I love this...I think it is a phto categorey, because it is a phto. Digital art is purely created on a computer, this is not that...I think it has a wonderful expressive mood. Excellent transformation. Maybe some think this is cheating, I don't. I prefer to explore and utilize all creative mediums if I get a chance. HollyWood is great with effects and combining all sorts of creativity. Look at all the uses of digital effects and animations they use...They use phtos for back drops and all sorts of things and they alter them in all sorts of ways. I don't think we have to be ashamed for finding new ways to communicate and express ourselves. Remember how some Indians thought that a camera was evil and a phto stole the soul. hehe
! sometimes people can be a little snoobby in the art world cause they want to rule the roost so they try to put down others ways of expression...One person would down colored pencil, one would praise it...what can I say. I think this is GREAT. Have a Wonderful New Year!!! Maybe if we had a section for purely altered phtos then people would be more at peace...I don't know. I love to change my phtos and make different varities of them...I wonder if people are angry that I put some of them in the phto section. If they have not been drawn on or really altered I do because they are not considered digital art to me unless they are born in that program and altered allot. I like to combine phtos too...so where does that go? Phtos and phtos together are still phtos to me... I wiil have to wite to the AW staff and see what they think so I am not making people angry ...maybe I am. Hope not!
