Original in oil on canvas
24" x 12" unframed
The log cabin was built by Nathanial Parker around 1765 and was moved to the site of an old fort in Castalian Springs, Tennessee.
Artist Reply: Thank you, Christine. This is one of many of this little historic cabin. We have a few left from the period of time that they were selling good and had a market for this particular subject. I enjoyed doing the paintings and getting my reference photos from the original. It was a sweet little cabin and still in good enough condition to live in if one could do without the amenities.
Artist Reply: Thank you for your kind comment, Debra. I really enjoy trying to paint snow and love to watch it but, wouldn't mind being back in Florida, for the weather.
