It is well-known that Iowa is the leading producer in corn production nationwide. Corn is the most important crop for each of the 99 counties in Iowa. Taking into this account, I use corn kernels to make up a map of Iowa with each kernel representing one county in Iowa. Due to regular shape of most of the counties, the image consists of 99 kernels (counties) also look like part of corns ear. The use of yellow and green implies the agricultural theme of this design for celebrating Iowas anniversary. This design won the 2nd place prize of T-shirt design for celebrating Iowa's 160th anniversary.
