The Awakening

I did this piece for a charity auction in Feb. 07. The proceeds go to help abused women and families in crisis in Charlotte, NC. I was inspired by some of the stories i was told of these families and how they were able to create something beautiful out of something broken. 26"x10" prismacolor on bristol

It's so much more meaningful when you have the story to something! It's a beautiful picture. It's too bad you don't have a premium account because a print of this would be fantastic. I can't think of anything worthy enough to be a name, but I will keep thinking!
