Being an aspiring comic writer, I was told that writers have to interact with artists with regards to the exterior & interior art. I scanned an image of the Spirit and using Photoshop and Windows Paint to carefully replace the dark blue and white. I then looked for images of his distinctive gun (Webley), removed the color, inverted them, scaled, gaussian blur then rotated/scaled them.
