Frosty Fog at Sunrise

Daylight comes later in the wintertime, but it does come. With it comes the phenomenon known as "Snow fog" or "Ice Fog". This picture shows where the fog comes from. Notice how it looks like puffs of breath on a cold day. The air will not get warm enough fast enough for the fog to burn off so it will collect instead on the trees, and surrounding scenery and turn into frost.
