A Merry Christmas and Happy and prosperous New Year!!!!
Very cool Steve. I myslef am at battle trying trying to create an African American santa that looks and feels like us. I don't just want to take the traditional Santa and give him a brown face. But then how do you make him culturally relevant without making him stereotypical and offensive. It's tough...I applaud your image!!
HaHaHa...HeHeHe, I absolutely love this. It reminds me of three Christmas's ago. You see I have a neice that is half African American she looks Pocohantis because of the Indian part of us. Any way my mom has a light up santa on the mantle that stands about three feet high. Summer is her name, any way mom comes in the living room to find that the Santa face was paintd black. It was funny because a few days prior they learned about people and different races and beliefs and such in school. She said to my mom, I felt that we sould celebrate the other half of me to grandma. And now every x-mas that santat goes up still!!! GrEaT reminder of a wonderful memory for me Thanks Steve.
