What media is this? Is it a comp. inhanced photo? The far away clouds look so beautiful behind the light source and dark clouds. It almost looks like a skull right in the middle of the black cloud

Cile, I had to come visit your page and all your work caught my eye ! This stood out because I do lots of work with the sky and clouds.. Some simple some complex, but like humans, each cloud has it's own signature to me.. Great stuff Cile !! Look forward to more =)

Stephanie, I painted the dramatic effect on the computer to acheive the rather ominious effect. I did several versions from that one original picture. After a friend died I created night tears my second version. I will post it some day. Thanks for the comments. Cile

What a fantastic sky, was you lucky or did you take hundreds to get just this one? What am i talking about, a sky like this happens just once in a lifetime. I wish I could of dreamt it up for one of my pictures. :)
