The Red Dress

I saw a man standing outside a funeral parlor today He was holding a red dress as it blew into the wind From where I stood I could feel his sadness As the cars and other people quickly passed him He threw up his arms to Heaven And from where I stood I could almost hear him cry Why did you take my red dressed lady? She was my wife, my life, and my baby. She just bought this dress to wear for Christmas, it was our favorite color and she knew Id love to see her in it. How will I ever live my life or survive Christmas without my red dressed lady...." I saw a man standing outside the funeral parlor today..... written by Rebecca Burns
