I really learned alot about long exposures while vacationing in Richmond, Minnesota this year. The neighboring cabin had a bonfire every night and I thought it would be a pretty neat shot.
Was the exposure very long? I suppose it was. The water is lovely. Pretty colors, also. Nice job. :)
Artist Reply: Actually, the shutter was only open for 20 seconds at f/4.5 on this shot. This was right at dusk so the high aperture made it look lighter than it really was. I'm glad it did though because you can see more detail across the lakefront that way.
