A charcoal and white pencil sketch on tinted charcoal paper of Ralph Macchio in his role as "Daniel-san" in the popular Karate Kid movies. This is a companion to the Mr. Miyagi portrait.
Excellent drawing. I think your drawn portraits are my favorite. I have never seen The Karate Kid. Because of this portrait, I will see that movie! There, your work is alraedy CHANGING LIVES!
Great Macchio Kathy, this image with the intensity in his face reminds me a little of the movie crossroads when he got into the duel with Steve Vai for the old bluesman's soul. Great piece
Hrllo, Kathryn, your talent amazes me once more...Excellent style and details. So alive and full of spirit.Tthank you for thinking of me and Bandit. Bandit is Ok. He might need his medication increased since he is an older dog and his epillepsy seems to be manifesting in different ways these days. He seems to be doing well, just not as energetic. I am ok. However, if you do pray I would appreciate a little prayer. For some reasons this time of year is a bit sad for me. I will say a word for you too and I hope that God blesses you richly all through your life. I think you are a wonderful person, really. I wish to call you a sister too, if that is ok with you. May this Christmas bring you much love and happiness and the New Year be the best you have ever had. One huge everlasting hug...sincerely CB
