Artist Reply: G'day Mark. I just had a look at your site. Very cool and very versatile, I love that pic of you sitting on the floor in painting mode music on and just doing it, I can relate to that. Most or nearly all my paintings sell to the overseas market and very few Australians know of me or my works. I work in acrylics and as there are a number of fluorescent paints available in this range I then mix them with the more conventually used paints to lift them and give them a sort of glow that is why they appear so bright. It was all trial and error for a while but I think I've just about got it worked out now. I will add some more paintings soon and thanks once again for your comments. Bob Riddell.

Artist Reply: Thank you Helen I just had a look at your work, I love the Kangaroo Paw and by coincidence I am working on a painting that has some Sturt-pea in it. I like to keep my paintings bright and possibly a little overly so and find that this suits todays perceptions of art.
