If you will, just see the work not necessarily the subject. Although not everyone's guilty pleasure, I think seeing Clay's arms are a recent one for me.
I am so very glad you didn't quit drawing Clay. It is one way to chart your progress.....and his!! LOL I always like what you do with Clay...but this one is destined to be a favorite! Francis Rivera mentioned the softness to his face.....well I am amazed at how there is such a softness to his shirt as well. Looking at your work...I can tell how the shirt would feel in my hands. Is that weird? I wish Clay could see what you have done with him. Or better yet...his mom. She would be so pleased.
Artist Reply: Yes, Karen, I can sort of sense when I do one better of him. I always love how you describe how you see, and feel about a job I have done. This time, lets me know that there has been improvement, and I thank you for that!!!! As far as he and his mom,seeing them,? They probably sees a million artworks of him all of the time
