like you les, i prefer the apparent simplicity and yet complex depths you can attain without the use of colour. this actually looks like a digitally enhanced photo because your lighting and shadows are spot on. you just listen to your own inner voice and keep on creating these beautiful pieces of work. bravo!

You have your own distinct style, and skillful handling of your medium. How about some color, people love color and it is part of the fascination with these animals. I have one tiger digital painting in color in my AW portfolio. The tiger but not the background was painted on a living room wall. Seem to remember the wall was a very light soft pink.

Artist Reply: Thank you for your kind comments on my work. I love working with the black, white, & grey contrasts that pencil produces. For me, it creates it's own distinctive feel, that I might lose with colour. I appreciate your views.... thanks John.
