Sunset Storm Abstract

During the past Summer, I saw some amazing sunsets, often with fantastic storms. I would see sometimes the firey sunset colors in the storm clouds, making the storm very beautiful and amazing. I know strom clouds are often so dark in color, that they can be limited in color ranges that we see. If ther is lightning in the clouds, there are more busrts of intense colors for seconds that magically lighten up the clouds. I was daydreaming about them and started this work. This one is a blend of digitally hand painted works, with 3D elements added in, and a couple of manipulations to pull it all together to complete the composition. If I ever saw something like this, even in partial, I'd drop my jaw, camera if I remembered to grab it, and stand in awe. I miss so many shots of sunsets and storms because I'd rather just enjoy it than capture it. So, for the ones I missed, I've made this dreamy abstract.

Artist Reply: Thank you Johan! I sometimes think I am creating trippy works. LOL! I seemed drawn to them. My way of taking a fantasy trip in my mind without the dreams or drugs to have visions like this one. Glad you like this one, it's a favorite of mine.

Artist Reply: Thank you Debbie! I'm very happy on the responses I'm getting on these type works. I will continue to learn more ways to expand on for variety, but to also match the series.
