Tibetan Yak Herder

I enjoy doing wrinkles. Wrinkles are the service stripes of life. And what a great face! The depth in the eyes right down to the gnarled hands, he's held that pipe so long his hands seem to have moulded to it.

These are smile wrinkles to be sure!

Excellent portrait. I love wrinkles, I think they add so much character to a face. So much interesting features. I will not mind as my own begin, even is a woman, I will have earned them, so will proudly bear them. Sides, tired of being thought of as so much younger.

hello steven enjoy your work very much. the way you vignette from the details of the face to a softer vague reference to the folds of the garment. it makes a powerful statement.
