high up and far away.
Your light is shining:
you are a star.

You're the grandfather
of our friend,
and a dear person to him.

behind the horizon
where the light will shine for ever.
Your dearest stay behind
with a sky
full of memories.

We are touched
and warm ourselves
onto the light of your soul.

Je straalt heel mooi,

De zon nam je die avond mee
achter de einder,

Je dierbaren blijven achter
met een sterrenhemel
vol herinneringen.

Je licht ging uit,
je stralen schijnen door.
We zijn er door geraakt
en warmen ons nu aan
