18 x 24 My first oil painting. I was told this is an exercise all new artists must do. It is really bad and is the reason I only paint pets. Fellow artists, please note my tribute to Bob Ross in my "happy little trees"

Oh Cheri, this is fantastic! I guess the good brushes paid off. I love the pose behind the easel, and the brush behind your ear, and your lovely smile. Really superb portrait!

I know this beautiful lady well. Except for the nose, this is a great likeness of her in her style. I was also fascinated by the composition of the work. I have no imagination, so I was deeply impressed.
