Went to Lewiston, Idaho the other day to look at a house and found these in the yard...in the middle of September! And this little guy was busy enjoying it. I went a little crazy taking pictures of them...and there were a couple of batches...and also mushrooms all over. What started out a mission to view a house, turned out to be a nice photo op!

It is not a Crocus Patti Jo. They are very similar but they flower in Autums. The name is Autumn crocus. Anyway a beautiful photograph.
