Artist Reply: Thanks, Sweetie! I suppose I should consider it 'great art' when there's a little controversary about a piece. I don't particularly like explaining my work. I paint what I feel and what I see and let the onlookers determine for themselves what it means to them, if anything. If it means nothing to them, it really doesn't matter since it was MY impressions, feelings, thoughts, etc. that were an ourpouring into the painting. If the onlooker is moved, so much the better. If not, then they can always find the path to yet another artist's works. There are so many talented artists on AW and I am honored to be among them. I especially like your work and even though I may not always comment on your work, I visit your portfolio often. Your work is admirable.

Artist Reply: Well, bless your heart, Kriste, you don't have to relate to this image at all or any other image. You might have to use just a little imagination to correlate the title with the image BUT remember, it's an abstract and really doesn't have to mean anything. Are you a new artist?
