I just started experimenting with pastels, and can appreciate how difficult it was to create such a well-proportioned and vibrant image. I can't figure out how you did it. Great work!

Artist Reply: Thank you David. I work from a picture and grid both the picture and the paper I am working on to get the proportion right. Also, remember to work from top to bottom with the pastels...they are soooo messy! I have only been working with pastels about 6 months. I did a friend's old car as a trial to see how they worked and it turned out fantastic...haven't stopped with the cars since....luckily I have had success getting a few commissions.
