Here is the Prince at the Carnival disguising himself in hopes to find the beauty behind him. The beauty hides but peaks out for him as a foe to the side is spying. Travestimento di Carnival means Carnival Disguise in Italian.
This is a beautiful and very whimsical composition. I LOVE THIS!! The story is great and the fairy tale quality of your work is truly wonderful. I take many pictures of my dogs and recently wanted to explore another medium so I translated my photographic story into a comic. Given your talent, I would be interested in your opinion of Molly's Granny. Photography has become an exciting venture and I am so glad you decided to return to the many artforms you create. Everytime I decide to explore a new way of presenting my photos I feel the risk is worth taking since the process if more fun than than the destination. I encourage your exploration and new self confidence. You have earned your sense of worth as reflected in your unique talent.
Artist Reply: Oh Julie, I'm blushing! What an amazing comment to be graced with! Definitely warms my heart! I love to cover all forms of art as much as I can, I think that's what's the artist in us is like in all of us. We want to explore and express as much as we can. I'd love to check out Molly's Granny! Can't wait. I have thought about doing a comic strip, I have had to once in Art Class back in highschool, it's a lot of work but it's so fun and challenging!
intricate details .... marvellous .. Count of Monte Cristo?? this is way too cool ....
Artist Reply: Thank You Hassan for checking this out! This can be just about anyone. A Venetian Royalty perhaps since the Carnival is so huge there especially Mardi Gras time which is celebrated in Italy but as the Epiphany. THANK YOU THANK YOU!
