Kiwis

I always like to see where our food comes from. With imports, urbanisation and agriculture policies, it is sometimes hard to actually see our food grow. So when I travel I always grab the opportunity ... :-) This is New Zealand, dec 2005.

Great picture, Anne. I'm growing a Kiwi, but without much success in this cold climate.

I love this one, the lighting is soft and delicate which brings out the sutble qualties of the Kiwis's fur. Nice work, so lovely.

Wonderful capture! I love both the kiwi fruit and the funny, flightless kiwi bird. New Zealand was my husband's favorite trip that he visited in the world. He used to travel everywhere. Since he's been to over 50 countries around the world, that's saying a lot about the beauty and people of New Zealand. I hope to visit ther with him in a few years.

This is a fun photo. The three fruit hang in the foreground with a slightly fuzzy background. Three is always a mystical number, the Trinity and all that. I just never associated it with kiwis. Does those things grow in Holland?
