Here are a couple pages of little DMS (direct mural sketches) which are mandated to be done in ball point ink pen. The process is elementary and it forces me to think creatively and to capture the concepts in order to transfer. Any erasing, if you have to, is done with white-out. I have found this personal form of sketching to be challenging as well as fun. The end results still maintain a huge level of spontaneity and freshness and allows us to have fun during the paint application modes. H Rios
