Jewel is born in a shelter. She tried to dig her way out of the box the second she could see. She is very feisty and yet loves to be held and cuddled. Jewel does not have a new home yet but hopefully she will be adopted soon. The vet says she is healthy and will make a very good companion. Do I sound like an advertisement? Well perhaps but I am involved with the animals rescue and shelter units, and this is where I get to know many an unwanted or lost creature. That is also where my photos come from to draw or paint these wonderful souls.
