Hwy 410 is a main thoughfare between Western and Eastern Washington, but it's only open for 5-6 months of the year. Our favorite trail at the top of this pass is the Naches Loop. During the summer, this is a great place to see the high mountain flowers, but the fall brings brilliant oranges and reds to the landscape. I think this is my favorite time of year to visit this place, before the snows come and they close it again until late spring.
