I'd like if the background was worked out a little more because right now I'm a little unsure of what's going on there. But the character is beautiful. Nice work.

! ! teach me!! i try and doa picture liek that but it never works!! any tips??

Artist Reply: It was done entirely in photoshop, and with many layers, I built it up from base colours. I worked loosely from reference. I mainly used the smudge tool, which would be similar to the method i would use with oils, to put down the tones as I thought best. I'm not really sure what else to say, it was trial and error. o-0
