This painting is flat but can be rescued, easily. Reflect some of the warm colors of the table into to underside of the lemons. this is called "local color" . light is also present in the shadows of a thing. this is called "half light". Stop murdering your compositions , you do this when you place the subject smack dab in the center of the picture plane. Happy painting, to you.
