"A sun sets in the sky,
done with its work
as the
moon comes up.
A cry breaks the silence of the night
as she
tries to keep her family together..."
THIS IS AN EXCERPT OF ONE OF MY FIRST
PAINTINGS (2001)-
Acrylic on stretched canvas
16"-20" (40.6cmx50.8cm) unframed.
To add more drama, I mixed fine
beach sand with acrylic paint, which I used
for the backround.
This gives the
rough effect I wanted for this NIGHT
CRY.
The painting has been hanging in the
apartment of my
oldest daughter Eveline and in the office of my
husband Fred.
A Shiver,
Hold me, comfort me.
The stones are nothing but pain tonight.
Hold me to your breast so that I ramble.
The stars are gray as ash
and the road to them
is blaze with light.
