The cold shades of blue, the steel grays of the buildings, so strong & tall, yet not invulnerable to the destruction caused by the misguidedness of humanity ...the hot searing billowing smoke & fire of the violence. This painting powerfully captures the horror of the event & how shocking it was to see the tv footage of an all too real event. A real reminder of all it stands for and how we need to make positive changes in this world , an urgent plea for healing & restoration. Very expressive work, Dave!
No one will ever forget...Soon to come another anniversary...the Lament of the Lord...His people still can not stop the murdering, from the beginning of time with Cain and Abel. So Sad we can not rid our hearts of hate, lies, murder, lust, envy, sloth, gluttony, stealing, fornication, adultery, false witness...our Only Hope is the Sacrifice of Jesus Christ and yet many curse his name. What a painting!!! Wow! God have Mercy on all and helps to learn to love.
