Mt. Rainier from Mowich Lake

This is the zoomed in view of the mountain from Mowich Lake. You get better views occasionally on the road to here and of course from the trails that originate from Mowich, but I do like this shot as it shows the deer/elk head image in the snow near the summit. You can see this image from Enumclaw, where I live, 30 miles away. The locals judge the snow amounts on the mountain by how clear the deer head is. Heavy snow in the winter makes a clear image and as the summer passes, more rock and less snow make it almost unrecognizable. I hope you can see it and it's not just in our imagination.
