An abundance of spring colours, bursting with swirling patterns and floral shapes. This painting was inspired by the material and wallpaper that was prevalent in the 1970's, some might describe it as "retro", I have yet to really come to terms with that as a description!! Deep Yellow, Medium Yellow and Lemon Yellow combine with Viridian, Emerald and Sap Green, set against a background of Burnt Umber. There are also elements of Black and Toffee colours. Each shape within this piece has been carefully painted around with black to enhance the bold design.
