Funny how someone can say a sad child is magical...I find it sad yes and I wonder why the little one is sad, this is one of your best renderings I think...it has a strange allure but it is more than a mere magic that draws the viewer to this innocent little form...in the right hand upper corner it almost looks like a dark hand above this child, the face looks afraid and lost...not magical.
