First off, this page is really old, it was the beginning of my third and finally successful attempt at starting the graphic novel in-progress, Shifting Times. I am going to start re-posting pages here.

I started working on 9X12 bristol board and using watercolors and gouache, but moved on to the digital pages that you will see from the third page on. Still sketched and sometimes inked in pencil, but scanned in and colored using Painter 8 from there. It's not any faster than the traditional media pages, but it requires less of a mess and paper waste.

Shifting Times is about a group of shape-shifters called Shabenay. They had been considered extinct for several hundred years, but starting some fifty years ago rumors started as to their reappearance. Rumors and old myths rose up. To put it simply, the Shabenay are not well liked.
