©2006 Shari Morfin - This is a contemporary, mixed media, original work of art perfect for bringing beauty into your home's decor. My goal in creating this piece was to mix the inverse goddess photo in a symmetrical pattern over the flowers with the blue and pink reflected in both photos. Goddess in Pink is a one of a kind work, which will not be reproduced on canvas again (except possibly for my own personal collection.) This collage features a photograph of a peaceful goddess statue which was digitally inversed and cropped over a colorized pink tree of flowers. These were arranged in a pattern for extra symmetry and interest. A glossy print was made on Kodak Endura silver based paper, the emulsion of which was then heat & pressure bonded to museum quality gallery wrapped canvas and stretched & mounted on a wooden artist frame and sprayed with a protective coating.
