This is one of my first watercolors. It was my mother's favorite so I had it matted and framed and gave it to her. She was diagnosed with brain cancer and died 6 mos. later. My sister told me that she enjoyed looking at this painting right up until the end. I'm posting it in memory of her.

It makes me want to cry...cause my Mom is 83 and soon to be perhaps passing this gate...what a lovely touching story...You gave your Mom something to dream about...Now it would be cool to piant her in this picture somehow...just a thought I hope you don't mind.
