Artist Reply: my dear ,Christine...I truly thank you so very much for such heart warming comments...You are totally right,who will stop this pazzle ..?...its a great question...perhaps GOD,............PERHAPS...he has his own way to teach the human race a lesson..that is ,if you believe in GOD....I have not got the answer ..really ...of how this should be end one day...i wish there were never be wars,no where around the world,it can only bring sorrow...i could never..NEVER,Understood this...also through learning Bible..or History..why does people need wars...why does people have wars...for what purpose..??...i just can;'t understand this...My father sometimes used to say : "we have such a WONDERFUL BEAUTIFUL World..unfortunately there always some people want to destroy it...And not know how to enjoy it"...........FOR Your other questions of me...For now i'm safe,but this is a WAR,No one really can predict what can happen in a war...No one knows when or when the next Rocket will land...I live in an old building...with no Shelter actually,or a "PROTECTED AREA",Like many people in my country...SO...If the missles will land here,i'm not protected..I know they have now missles that can reach higer distance,they already tried in this war..didn't have yet success ...but they are improving,each time...Most Rockets over 2100 ,until now are falling an hour away from ME......The problem...this seems like an never ending story,a very complicated story,ALOT More than this terrible war,because its only part of a whole picture...... About your question of safety...THIS COUNTRY IS NOT A SAFE PLACE TO LIVE ,Christine,BUT IT IS MY HOME,AND NATURALLY ,I LOVE AND BELIEVE IN MY HOME...And in the people live here..This last 2 weeks,brought back alot of memories to me from ALL times,since i was 3 years old,Six days war...the first war i remember...to the "First War in the Gulf ",which was the hardest war for the citizens of Israel,i lived then in area A,still living this area...Where most "Scud s" fall all around,it was very terrifying traumatic for ALL of us,i can tell you,i didn't sleep day or night,during all that war, 6 weeks,listening to the Radio.......AND...those Terror attacks ALWAYS...Sometimes quiet,but SO MANY...Times of terrible surprises of TERROR,All over this country...SO...You can understand the the question of safety,is a very difficult question,because no where is REALLY SAFE,In this country...And everywhere,can wait a terrible surprise of Terror...it can be in hotel ,restaurant ,discotheque,buses...EVERYWHERE,SO MANY...During the last several years...in 2002..there were even 2-3 terror attack each day,all around the country...and what will you call it...isn't it a WAR...?...A very difficult unpredicted war....you know everywhere you go,there are guard to check your bags,perhaos you are a terrorist...EVERYWHERE....In schools there are guards since 1978...The SAD thing...there is a real danger to the existence of my country.......I know most of the people wants PEACE...To live normally...in quiet...with NO FEARS.......You now even as a child or teenager,i remember myself sometimes smiling to myself..in a short time of peaceful quiet time....saying to myself from the inside...:"ho...at last,we have quiet times...with HOPE That it will stay foever..."....SO...I'll finish this short-long speech with a TRUE PRAYER FOR PEACE...With LOVE always,NIRA.....
