This is an old painting updated recently dor the AW's bird painting competition. It didn't win but what the heck :D The size is about 18x12 inches, sorry I don't feel like hunting it out to measure it in this heat. Copyright © Steph Salt

Beautiful! Great detail work on the feathers... the face of the bird has wonderful details too. And the background work is handled wonderfully.. looks like tall grasses moving in the wind.. Excellent work with pastels :o)Elizabeth Stringer 31 Jul 2006
