I spent the day going to galleries-including the gallery that a friend owns, Sandy Garvin-of the Garvin gallery-and she was nice enough to supply a friend and I with 9"x9" primed pine blocks which I used for this painting done in the Essex/Lyme area-a very beautiful place and also home of american impressionism.
